Spiritual Caregiving
I recently worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care as an Interfaith Staff Chaplain. I provided spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff in the hospital. My work as a chaplain and as a spiritual caregiver has been a confluence of my training in inter-religious dialogue, peacemaking, and pastoral Care. Currently I am specialized in palliative, hospice and end-of-life spiritual care. I am also a nationally board-certified chaplain through the Association of Professional Chaplains. Feel free to write to me with questions about my work, how you might explore chaplaincy as a ministry, and if you have any questions about spiritual caregiving at the end of life.
